Mezzotint or ‘Black Art’ is an intaglio printing technique. It had its heyday in the 17th and 18th centuries. It’s the first graphic technique that applied (gray) tones and was used for making reproductions and portraits. Due to its complexity, Mezzotint began to lose popularity with the rise of photography.
Project application
Because of the many requests, we are forced to work with programming. This means that we cannot take on every project at short notice. This depends on the technology and/or possibilities in the workshop. Therefore, always take a waiting period into account.
