New way of working: 4 registration periods per year

Make Eindhoven is changing its way of working. We’re streamlining our process with 4 registration periods per year, so we can prevent projects from getting stuck due to an overloaded workshop and help everyone as well as possible. That means: more time, space and knowledge for makers and their projects.

What’s new? 

Our new way of working also means a change for you as a maker. You’ll now submit your project plan during a fixed registration period. This helps us plan the workshop as effectively as possible. It means you’ll know in advance when you get started, so you can prepare accordingly, and it prevents the workshop from being overloaded. 

How does it work? 

We’re launching our new way of working from January 2027. The first registration period for this opens on 21 September and closes on 23 October. It applies to projects starting from January 2027. Until then, we’ll continue working as usual. 

Registration 

To work with us starting next year, you register during the first registration period from 21 September to 24 October. In November we will let you know whether you’ve been selected to work with us from January 2027. To register, submit your project plan, CV and portfolio.  

Project plan 

A project plan consists of maximum 1 A4. Here you describe, for example, what you want to research, why you want to do that at Make Eindhoven, your experience with the technique, and information on your planning and any deadline. Your project plan helps us assess what’s needed in the workshop to help you as well as possible. Good to know: experience is not a requirement. 

Fast Lane 

We still welcome a wide range of projects – that hasn’t changed. Do you already have experience with the techniques in your project, and have you worked at Make Eindhoven before? Then you’re also welcome to email us outside regular registration periods.
