Filament library

Part of our CAD/CAM lab is the filament library, where we collect and share filaments. From standard PLA for consumer use to experimental custom-made materials, such as glass-filled filament that can be sintered into solid glass.

Showcasing material possibilities
With this library, we want to make the possibilities of materials within 3D printing accessible. We also have a general sample library, with samples, tests and experiments in the areas of laser engraving, CNC milling, 3D printing, CNC plotting and cutting. We collaborate closely with our Graphics, Glass and Metal departments.

The library shows you the standard parameters of the print settings for the filaments. With the filament maker, we invite makers to experiment with the possibilities of material – encouraging the reuse of waste materials in the process.
