Make Eindhoven and the Dutch Museum of Lithography in Valkenswaard are collaborating in a program exploring new possibilities of the medium lithography.
Program
The program consists of two trajectories one in 2024 and another in 2025. For each trajectory, two selected artists will have the opportunity to experiment with the medium of lithography in an innovative way.
The starting point is an experimental research in which artists will work both in the studio of the Dutch Museum of Lithography and in the graphic workshop of Make Eindhoven under the guidance of Make Eindhoven advisors and master printer Gertjan Forrer of the Dutch Museum of Lithography.
With this program, we want to stimulate, update but above all keep knowledge of the
technique of lithography alive. We also want to give specially selected artists room to work on innovative, experimental and more unorthodox applications within contemporary visual art.
Open Call 2024-2025
The first trajectory, spread over several days, will take place in the period from September 2024 to mid-October 2024. A second trajectory is planned in the period from September 2025 to mid-October 2025.
