Artist In Residence

Make Eindhoven and De Fabriek (workspace for artists and designers) are both unique development centers within the cultural infrastructure of Eindhoven. We join forces in the form of a residency to support makers in a unique way; both technically and theoretically and in the entire process, from concept to exhibition.

Facts
Every year we select 1 artist as a resident. We offer facilities, time and knowledge for development, reflection and deepening, resulting in new work; a special cooperation that has national and international impact. The resident gets to experiment with materials and techniques at Make Eindhoven and at De Fabriek with options for presenting. In addition, the artist gets to reflect with a curator at De Fabriek, resulting in a text about his or her working process. A residency starts in consultation and lasts 3 months.

Participation
Calls for a Residency appear through our newsletter, social media and art magazines. An external committee selects the artists based on portfolio and plan proposal.
